Geisinger’s Janet Weis Children’s Hospital is partnering with Kohl’s to launch Kohl’s Cares Moving4Health, a program providing innovative childhood obesity prevention education, resources and activities so children can learn to make healthy choices on their own.
Moving 4 Health is a resource for children and adults to learn how to live healthy lives and ways to support each other to set and meet personal wellness goals.
The Kohl’s Cares® Hospital Program was introduced in 2000 to reinforce Kohl’s commitment to the communities we serve and promote children’s health initiatives. Kohl's Cares® cause merchandise program has raised more than $208 million for children's health and education initiatives. Kohl’s supports more than 160 children’s hospitals nationwide. Four times annually, Kohl’s introduces new Kohl’s Cares® cause merchandise, including children’s books and plush toys. Items are $5 each and 100 percent of the net profits are donated to children’s health and education programs nationwide, including local Kohl’s hospital partners.
